Our Story

Note From the Owner:

“When I was 10 years old, my dad brought me along on a job to a house he was painting. He handed me a paintbrush and told me to paint the handrails on the deck. It took me all day, and by the end of it, I was covered in paint. But when he handed me a $100 bill, I thought I was the richest person in the world!

Fast forward to when I was 18, I decided to go on my own journey with paint and became an industrial painter. I received specialized training, and in the years to follow, I painted everything from rock-crushing equipment to barges to bridges and just about everything in between. The coolest thing I think I ever got to paint was stealth boats for the Department of Defense!

Throughout those years, I became certified in almost every industrial coating process, but I felt like I had hit a wall in my career and wanted to do more. Taking the ceiling off and stepping out on my own seemed like it would be the perfect fit. A passion of mine has always been meeting new people and helping to meet whatever needs they may have. Sadly, I have seen too many terrible paint jobs that people paid a lot of their hard-earned money for, and I aim to fix them, one by one.

Learning the ins and outs of painting that had been passed down from generation to generation starting with my great grandpa, I have grown to have extremely high standards when it comes to the quality of the work and in how you treat people. My work in the industrial field was highly scrutinized due to very specific coating requirements for those machines/equipment, and every square inch of my projects was inspected. This further trained me to always do great work the FIRST time; otherwise, be prepared to sand the whole thing down and start over! I bring those same high standards of quality into my business.

My mission with 4th Generation Painting is to prioritize great communication with our customers and deliver a high-quality paint job that far exceeds their expectations.
